PETA activist James Cromwell is nominated in the Best Drama Guest Actor category for his role as Ewan Roy on HBO’s “Succession”.

The episode nominated is titled, “Church and State”, during which Cromwell’s character gives a eulogy for his brother Logan (Brian Cox). Nobody wanted him to speak at the funeral in the episode, but we’re rooting for him to take home the Emmy!

Meanwhile, Cromwell’s onscreen brother, Brian Cox who plays Logan on “Succession” is an animal lover in his own right and we want him to be a winner for his role in the final season of “Succession”. The real life cat dad explains whether he thinks a cat could crack Logan Roy’s hard exterior in the PETA ad to encourage adopting and spaying and neutering below.

“The Last of Us” is up for three Emmys this year, one for Drama TV Series, another with Bella Ramsey up for Best Actress in a Drama TV Series and Pedro Pascal is competing in the Best Actor in a Drama TV Series category. The focus of the series is on life after a global pandemic destroys civilization, when one of the last remaining survivors helps a young teenage girl, 14, who may be the only hope for humanity. The Environmental Media Association (EMA) has also recognized “The Last of Us” season 1, episode 1 as a TV Episodic Drama nominee at the 2023 EMA Awards, as first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

We’re hoping actress Ayo Edebiri wins the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in “The Bear”. She loves her rescue dog and we love her! She’s already won the Golden Globe and the Critics Choice Award so the odds are in her favour.
