Oprah Winfrey has been wearing “The Color Purple” on her press tour for the film remake that comes out on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2023. And we couldn’t help but notice she chose vegan designer Stella McCartney’s creations in purple, not once, but twice so far.
Lady O chose the fashion house’s iconic Savile Row three-piece suit, made of recycled lurex brocade in brilliant purple. Earlier in the press tour, Winfrey also looked like “purple perfection” in Stella McCartney, donning a light purple suit.

Now Oprah wouldn’t be Oprah without sharing one of her favourite purple things with her “The Color Purple” family.
Winfrey joined forces with vegan bag brand Telfar Global to “get in on our Purple fun,” saying, “I had to make sure my ‘The Color Purple’ family got their Purple bags with movie tickets from Fandango just in time to spread the Purple love.”
